- Pool fees (typically 0.01–1%, set by the token's own liquidity pool)
- Price impact from a large trade on a thin token
- Token taxes written into a coin's own contract
- Gas above the $5-per-trade cap, unless Gas Surplus is on
Covered by Dawn
- Network gas, up to $5 per trade
- A trade that fails inside your slippage is refunded, fee-free
- Cashback lowers your effective rate, from 0.75% at entry tier down to 0.45% at the top tier

No. Dawn pays your gas up to $5 per trade. Above that cap, you can opt into Gas Surplus (up to $50) to cover the overage yourself.
It isn't a separate Dawn fee, but it isn't absorbed by Dawn either. The routing cost of a cross-chain trade is built into the price you're quoted before you confirm.
A trade that can't fill inside your slippage tolerance is refunded, and no trading fee is charged.
Yes. Dawn's cashback program returns part of every fee you pay, so your effective rate drops as you move up tiers.
